Guava Apple Crisp
Relish the sweetness of Guava Apple Crisp
Ingredients
- 2 guavas, chopped (jaamfal)
- 1 apple, small pieces soaked in water
- 1⁄2 cup guava juice
- 1⁄4 cup glazed cherries
- 1⁄2 cup refined flour (maida)
- 1⁄4 cup corn flour
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup margarine
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder (dalchini)
Method
- In a bowl, mix guava, apple (after draining water), guava juice, cherries, vanilla essence and cinnamon powder.
- Add 1 tbsp refined flour and mix gently till the fruits are covered with flour.
- In another bowl, mix refined flour, corn flour, brown sugar and margarine till it forms a crumbly crust.
- In a greased baking dish, pour the fruit mixture evenly and cover it with crust.
- In a pre-heated oven, bake the mixture for 30 minutes at 200ºC.
- Cool and serve the delicious guava apple crisp.
