Pujya Gurudevshri Invited by the Honourable President Of India at the Rashtrapati Bhavan

Inspired by Pujya Gurudevshri and presented by Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur, the play Bharat Bhagya Vidhata showcases Mahatma Gandhi’s life and the inner revolution that carved India’s fate and propelled the nation towards freedom.

Since its inaugural performance in March, Bharat Bhagya Vidhata has successfully staged over 60 house full shows in Hindi and Gujarati across the nation. The Gujarati premiere of the play was held in the gracious presence Pujya Gurudevshri, the Honourable Governor of Gujarat, Shri O. P. Kohli and the Honourable Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Vijaybhai Rupani. The play has been fervently supported by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, Ministry of Culture, New Delhi as well as the Government of Gujarat.

The Honourable President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind graciously invited Pujya Gurudevshri to the iconic Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. It is one of the largest residences of any Head of the State in the world.

On the evening of May 17, a special performance of Bharat Bhagya Vidhata was organised at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Center in the sacred presence of Pujya Gurudevshri; Honourable President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind; First Lady Smt Savita Kovind; Chief of the Indian Army, General Bipin Rawat; and other dignitaries.

Esteemed dignitaries present included Honourable ministers, Secretaries of State, officers, corporates and distinguished guests. Before the commencement of the play, a dynamic introduction to Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur was provided by Atmarpit Siddhiji. The President was moved by the play and congratulated the artists during the photo session he had with them.

Pujya Gurudevshri had an endearing meeting with the Honourable President and was respectfully felicitated by him. The Sadguru affectionately presented an idol of Param Krupalu Dev to the Honourable President. In a testimony, the respect the Honourable President has for Pujya Gurudevshri and the Jain faith, non-vegetarian food was not cooked in the premises of the Rashtrapati Bhavan during the Sadguru’s stay there.
