A Collaborative Approach to Educational Excellence

Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, Dharampur hosted a pivotal three-day training programme for over 75 state coordinators of the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) schools – a set of residential girls’ secondary schools by the Government of India for girls from tribal and other underprivileged sections of the society.

Facilitated by Government of Gujarat’s Samagra Shiksha initiative, with Shrimad Rajchandra Educational Trust serving as knowledge partner, the programme was aimed to enhance operational excellence in managing the residential schools and hostels that serve these girls. A few sessions were also conducted by Sevaks of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, including workshops on vocational training; identifying current gaps and opportunities, and integrating practical skills into the students’ curriculum.

In another recent collaborative initiative, a team from Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care engaged in a productive meeting with representatives from the Ministry of Education, Government of Gujarat. The focus was to raise awareness about ongoing projects of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care and explore additional opportunities for synergy.

During the meeting, the team showcased that in addition to the ongoing educational initiatives, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care is also conducting health check-ups for students in schools under the educational outreach programme. The representatives were impressed by this integrated approach to education and health, recognising the holistic benefits it brings to children’s well-being. They expressed a keen interest in extending these services to more schools and pledged their full support for these commendable initiatives.
